How do I remove my vinyl stickers?
Our stickers are made using self-adhesive vinyl. When removing the sticker, the adhesive may separate from the vinyl - the older the sticker and/or the cooler the temperature of the surface - the more likely the adhesive will separate from the vinyl. Using heat is a good method for removing stickers however you will need to be aware of the surface under the sticker that you are heating up and the type of equipment you are using to heat the area.
Using a heat gun is the best and the quickest way to get heat into the area where the sticker is to be removed however it is also very easy to cause damage with a heat gun as the amount of concentrated heat is intense. Carefully heat the sticker and remove slowly to ensure that the surface does not damage.
How do I care for my vinyl stickers?
Depending on the the surface the vinyl sticker has been applied to, vinyl graphics should be cleaned carefully with a sponge and warm soapy water then rinse with clean water. Use a silicone squeegee to remove excess water and finish with a microfibre cloth – taking particular care at the edges of graphics. Do not use chamois leathers or cloths as these may lift and catch the finer parts and edges of the sticker. Avoid the use of abrasive cleaners, chemicals or solvents. Pressure washers may be used but ensure the water pressure is kept below 2000 psi.
