VINYL STICKERS

Polyvinyl chloride, also known as poly vinyl or vinyl, commonly abbreviated PVC, is the world's third-most widely produced synthetic plastic polymer, after polyethylene and polypropylene.

PVC or vinyl comes in two basic forms: rigid (sometimes abbreviated as RPVC) and flexible. The rigid form of PVC is used in construction for pipe and in profile applications such as doors and windows. It is also used for bottles, other non-food packaging, and cards (such as bank or membership cards). It can be made softer and more flexible by the addition of plasticizers, the most widely used being phthalates. In this form, it is also used in plumbing, electrical cable insulation, imitation leather, signage, phonograph records, inflatable products, and many applications where it replaces rubber.

Our wall art vinyl stickers are cut from a solid sheet of coloured vinyl, this means there is no background. The background colour of the decal is decided by the colour of the painted wall. Our safety vinyl stickers are either made from cut vinyl or printed vinyl.

Vinyl stickers can be used on a number of smooth, non-porous surfaces. Vinyl stickers are an ideal choice for surfaces such as glass, walls, cars, trucks, bikes, boats, windows, shops, musical instruments, fridge's, laptop's, furniture, smooth wooden surfaces etc. This is just a few of the use's - at the end of the day there is 1000's of things they can be applied to.

Vinyl stickers are great for a variety of reasons:

  • Vinyl Stickers Last: high-quality vinyl stickers will last for many years. It doesn’t matter what kind of weather you may have in your area, the sticker will stay in place.
  • Easy to Apply: you can do it yourself, depending on the size and the surface.
  • Cost effective: you can order a vinyl sign from your store only for as low as £1.10.
  • Durability: it's useful life ranges from 3–5 years with some vinyls going to 7-9 years.
